inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Thousands of personnel deployed to secure the trial of defendant Hasto Kristiyanto at the Central Jakarta District Court. The personnel included members of Metro Jaya Regional Police, the Central Jakarta Sub-regional Police, and the Sector Police.

“A total of 1,082 joint personnel from Metro Jaya Regional Police, Central Jakarta Sub-regional Metro Police, and the ranks of Sector Police were deployed to secure the protest related to the trial of Hasto on bribery and obstruction of justice,” says the Head of Central Jakarta Sub-regional Metro Police Chief, Senior Superintendent Susatyo Purnomo Condro on Monday (7/14/2025).

Susatyo explains that the security was held outside and inside the courtroom of Central Jakarta District Court. The placement of personnel inside the courtroom was to secure the ongoing trial.

Chief Susatyo previously was leading the Tactical Wall Game (TWG) and the security rally before the activity.

“Security personnel are not equipped with firearms and instructed to give the best service to the protesters with humanist and proportional approach,” says Susatyo in his statement.
