inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Health Minister sets nutrition standard to ensure that the Free Nutritious Food Program can successfully improve the public’s nutrition, especially children.

“I have talked with sir Dadan (Head of National Nutrition Agency) that the nutrition standard would be from us,” says the Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin on Thursday (10/31/2024).

Regarding its implementation, Minister Budi says that it would be up to the National Nutrition Agency and related stakeholders.

Previously, Dadan Hindayana has stated that the Free Nutritious Food Program will target approximately 82.9 million people.

"The target number of recipients of the Free Nutritious Meal Program will be around 82.9 million people. For that, we collaborate with all elements, including the National Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN) with its stunting handling," said Dadan.

Dadan also determined that Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) and cooperatives will be the suppliers of food ingredients for the Free Nutritious Meal Program. In addition, Dadan and his party will also form a Nutrition Service Unit (SP).

The SP will be spread to all villages and sub-districts with a service scale: one Nutrition Service Unit serves three thousand people which includes students from Early Childhood Education (PAUD) to high school, pregnant and breastfeeding mothers, and toddlers.
