“Yes, he has been arrested by Pemalang Sub-regional Police and now he is being examined by traffic police investigators,” says the Head of Central Java Regional Police Public Relations Division, Senior Superintendent Artanto when confirmed on Thursday (10/31/2024).

According to Artanto, the initial investigation reveals that the truck driver was not avoiding anything when swaying to the side of the road.

“The driver admitted that he was not trying to avoid another car, but instead, he fell asleep,” explains Artanto.

Other than C, examinations are also carried out towards the driver’s assistant. However, the identity of the assistant was not mentioned.
