According to the Intermediate Officer of the Divhumas Polri, during the evacuation process, Ops Damai Cartes personnel managed to evacuate one shooting victim from PTT (Palapa Timur Telematika).
"In less than 2 hours, the survivor, Nelson Sarira, was successfully evacuated by the joint personnel of OPS Damai Cartenz," said Commissioner Gatot Repli Handoko, Jakarta, Saturday (05/04/22).
The cooperation of TNI-Polri has now succeeded in rescuing one of the victims. The heroic action of the rescue braved difficult geographical conditions and extreme weather that could change at any time.
Until now, the survivors are still in recovery and later will be asked for information related to the whereabouts of colleagues from other PTT employees for further evacuation when he is fully recovered.
"The survivor has been successfully evacuated, then he was directed to the Mimika Police Headquarters to receive further medical treatment," said the Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Public Relations Division.
