Fact-checking reveals the video is identical to footage uploaded by official news channels in September 2025, according to Kompas.com.

The original 2025 footage shows President Prabowo responding to riots that damaged local legislative council buildings in several provinces, which he condemned as acts of treason against the state. 

Fact-checkers confirmed that no arson attacks or fires occurred at the national DPR building in Jakarta during July or August 2026.
