inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Hundreds of personnel deployed to secure Jakarta Regional Head Election agendas. The deployed personnel includes Metro Jaya Regional Police Personnel, Kodam Jaya Regional Military, Jakarta Provincial Government, and related stakeholders.

Head of Metro Jaya Regional Police Public Relations Division, Senior Superintendent Ade Ary Syam says that the security for the election campaign is part of 2024 Mantap Jaya Operation. Police also assure that the security will be carried out through preemptive and preventive approach.

“We prioritize preemptive and preventive in this approach with the main goal of maintaining a conducive situation and avoiding security disturbances throughout the election process,” says Ade in his statement on Monday (10/28/2024).

He also appealed to the public to avoid locations that are campaign points to avoid potential traffic jams. The Head of Public Relations also reminded all parties to maintain security and order during the campaign phase.

Ade detailed that there are 70 personnel deployed for the security in Central Jakarta, 100 personnel in East Jakarta, and 70 in North Jakarta.
