inp.polri.go.id - Bangka Belitung. The Bangka Belitung Regional Police's Special Criminal Investigation Directorate raided an illegal tin block processing and tin sand storage facility in West Bangka Regency.

According to information received, the raid took place at a warehouse located on Tempilang Raya street, Kelapa District, West Bangka Regency.

The Head of Public Relations for the Bangka Belitung Regional Police explained that the operation was led directly by the Director of Special Criminal Investigation of the Bangka Belitung Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Nanang Haryono, and his team. 

"Yes, that's right, we have successfully uncovered a case related to the illegal processing and storage of tin blocks and tin sand in Kelapa District, West Bangka Regency," said Agus Sugiyarso.

During the operation, the authority secured dozens of pieces of evidence, including tin blocks and equipment related to the storage activity.

In addition to the evidence, Agus said, several people were also detained for questioning regarding the case.

"We will officially announce the results through a press release in the near future," he concluded.
