Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Directorate General of Immigration sanctioned two Dutch men for organizing the "Entourage Run" event in Canggu, Bali, which allegedly discriminated against Indonesian citizens.
"There must be no state within a state. That running event represents a form of a state within a state," confirmed Director General of Immigration Hendarsam Marantoko on Friday (24/7/2026).
The two Dutch men, identified as JAS (35), a temporary stay permit (ITAS) holder, and HQV (37), an investor ITAS holder, departed Indonesia on Wednesday night, according to antaranews.com
Immigration authorities officially placed both individuals on the entry ban list, citing violations of stay permit regulations by organizing unapproved commercial events. The enforcement followed widespread public attention and official reports after an Indonesian citizen was reportedly denied registration for the event due to nationality.
