inp.polri.go.id - Mataram. West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Regional Police Hold large-scale patrols and distribute 500 food packages to the community following the extension of the PPKM level four period. A total of 250 Polda personnel and 60 personnel from Traffic Management Directorate and Samapta were deployed in this patrol, codenamed Aman Nusa.
"Tonight, we are carrying out large-scale patrols," explained the NTB Regional Police's Head of Operations Bureau, Pol. Grand Commissioner Iman Thobroni, Friday (23/7/2021).
The Regional Police conduct patrols in vulnerable areas. However, he also provided hundreds of food packages for the people he met in the field. Patrol activities are carried out to ensure that the community implements the level four PPKM (Community Restrictions) provisions. All business activities are required to close at 21.00 Central Indonesian Time
In addition, patrols are also accompanied by giving appeals to the community to comply with health protocols. Head of Operations, West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police said, this activity will be routinely carried out by the Police during the PPKM level four in NTB.
"We are patrolling areas that are considered vulnerable. Whether it is prone to criminal disturbances or other vulnerable areas, at the same time we provide basic food assistance from the Police as a form of empathy for the community," said Iman.
