Inp.polri.go.id - Medan.  Indonesia has earned a reputation as a premier host for world-class water sports events, particularly on Lake Toba in North Sumatra, Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno said. "In my conversation with H2O Racing founder Nicolo, I received reports that Indonesia is the best organiser for this event, and this will be conveyed in Sharjah next week," he said on Sunday (26/11/2023). According to InJourney, more than 50,000 spectators watched the spectacle during the two-day event," he added. H2O Racing founder Nicolo Di San Germano recognized Lake Toba as one of the best locations in the world, noting that  the magnificence, beauty and uniqueness of Lake Toba could potentially make it a training ground for aquabike and F1 powerboat racing. Meanwhile, Acting  Noth Sumatra Governor Hassanudin said that that hotel occupancy during the Aquabike Jetski World Championship averaged an impressive 100 percent. He expressed the aspiration for not only an influx of visitors but also the involvement of our community in this event, given the ongoing cultural collaboration. (mg/inp/pr/nm)
