Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesia advanced to the FIFA Series final following a dominant 4-0 victory over St. Kitts and Nevis at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium on Friday night (27/3/2026), marking a triumphant debut for new head coach John Herdman.

"We maintained an aggressive high-press from the opening whistle to dictate the tempo of the game," said Head Coach John Herdman during the post-match press conference in Jakarta, as cited by antaranews.com.

Midfielder Beckham Putra emerged as the standout performer, netting a first-half brace with clinical finishes in the 15th and 25th minutes, both assisted by Ole Romeny. The "Garuda" squad continued their onslaught in the second half as Romeny turned scorer in the 52nd minute, capitalizing on a corner-kick rebound. 

Substitute Mauro Zijlstra rounded off the scoring in the 74th minute with a sophisticated first-time strike following a defense-splitting pass from Joey Pelupessy. Coach Herdman utilized the match to test his squad depth, introducing key players like Justin Hubner and Ivar Jenner to maintain defensive solidity. Indonesia is now set to face Bulgaria in the tournament final this coming Monday.
