The Directorate General of Immigration under the Ministry of Immigration and Correctional Affairs announced on Thursday (2/5/2026) that it has officially issued 1,274 Golden Visas as of 18 May 2026, yielding Rp 52.1 trillion in realized foreign investment that surpassed the government's initial target of 1,000 visas since the program's inception in July 2024.
"In addition to showing an increase in global trust toward Indonesia, this policy has provided a tangible impact on the national economy," said Director General of Immigration Hendarsam Marantoko during a socialization event in Jakarta, as reported by antaranews.com.
According to immigration data, the highest number of Golden Visas were granted to citizens and diaspora from the United States, followed closely by China, Taiwan, Australia, Russia, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Japan, and South Korea.

The multi-year residency facility continues to target corporate investors, high-net-worth individuals, and former Indonesian citizens to drive sustainable economic growth.
