The Communication and Information Minister, Budi Arie Setiadi invites all media television in Indonesia to campaign 2024 Peaceful Election, says the Minister during his review of TVRI Alasmalang Banyuwangi Digital Transmitter. “The minister specifically invites all television channels to jointly campaign 2024 Peaceful Election while also securing digital spaces from all threats,” says Budi on Friday (11/17/2023). On that occasion, he says that joint effort in improving voter participation, ensuring the rights of vote and being voted, and preventing division and disinformation ahead 2024 elections. “In accordance to TVRI goals to be the broadcasting institution that educates public, I appreciate TVRI for its effort in fulfilling the rights of all Indonesian citizens, including vulnerable groups in underdeveloped, frontier and outermost areas (3T)," he said. Budi emphasized the presence of TVRI marks the advancement technology that ease the public in accessing information. “However, we have to remain vigilant against all disinformation that continuously appeared in digital media ahead 2024 Election,” Budi explains.
