Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi states Indonesia has sent the second batch of aids to Palestinians in Gaza. “Indonesia has sent the second batch of humanitarian aid, both from the central government and community funds,” says Retno in joint working meeting with Commission I DPR RI at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday (27/11/23). Retno states that the first batch of aids for Palestine weighing 50.8 tons have been sent from Jakarta on November 4th and have entered Gaza. While on the second batch, the 39,6 tons of aids, consisting 21.2 tons of government aids and 18.4 tons of community funds, has been delivered from Jakarta on last November 20th. “And all of our aids have entered Gaza,” Retno says in delivering the good news. She explains that the mechanism of sending aids from Indonesia to Palestine has to enter Egypt first at Al Arish Airport and received by Egyptian Red Crescent. “Then the aids will be inspected by Israeli guards at Nitzana checkpoint to be sent to gaza through Rafa and then finally received by Palestinian Red Crescent and UNRWA,” explains Retno in conclusion.
