Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The Trade Ministry Zulkifli Hasan addressed the rising price of rice in the market. He explains that the price in several regions have started to decline.
“It has stopped, some are even declined. We have ensured that there are no price increase in rice,” he said quoted from pmjnews on Friday (9/22/2023).
According to National Food Agency Price Panel, the price of premium rice was increased for 0.48% to IDR 14,650 per kilogram on Friday.
Meanwhile, the highest premium rice has reached up to IDR 17,900 per kilogram in Papua, with the lowest in South Sulawesi at IDR 13,240 per kilogram.
On the other hand, the price of medium rice has risen for 0,46% from the previous day to IDR 13,040 per kilogram. The highest price for medium rice is at Maluku with 16,460 per kilogram with the lowest at Yogyakarta at IDR 11,070 per kilogram.
