inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Anti-Corruption Task Force conducted searches related to alleged corruption in the Asembagoes Sugar Factory construction project in Situbondo. 

One of the locations searched was the office of PT Wijaya Karya (WIKA) in East Jakarta. Investigators also conducted searches at several locations in East Java. 

The searches were conducted to investigate alleged irregularities in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning project for the Asembagoes Sugar Factory, owned by PT Perkebunan Nusantara (PTPN) XI.

The Head of the Operations Division of INP Anti-Corruption Task Force, Senior Superintendent Ahmad Yusuf Afandi, stated that the searches were conducted to strengthen evidence in the case being handled by investigators.

"The search conducted by the Investigative Team is part of the investigation to seek and collect evidence relevant to the alleged corruption in the Assembagoes Sugar Factory EPCC," he explained on Tuesday (6/9/2026).

In addition to the WIKA office, investigators also searched the office of PT Multinas Tjahja Sejahtera in Surabaya. 

A search was also conducted at the office of PT Multinas Indonesia President Director, Tjahjadi Djajadibrata, and at the PT Barata Indonesia office in Gresik.
