The Drug Criminal Investigation Directorate of Indonesian National Police (INP) Criminal Investigation Agency arrest an online motorcycle taxi driver initial HJL for smuggling 10,000 ecstasy pills. “Yes, we arrest HJL with the evidence of 10,000 ecstasy pills in Teluk Gong, North Jakarta,” says Director of Bareksrim Drug Criminal Investigation Directorate, Brigadier General Mukti Juharsa on Tuesday (3/19/2024). The director says upon examining the suspect, HJL says that he got the order from HN alias SM who is currently in Thailand. The two are said to be recidivists from 2014 and has served his sentence in Nusakambangan Penitentiary. “HJL knew HN during his time in the prison,” said the director. HJL also admit that he took the ecstasy from a bag with a lion head colored chocolate at Superindo Muara Karang goods storage, North Jakarta. The investigator then found the evidence that HJL and HN communicated through an application called Twinme. Currently, police continue to investigate HJL for further examination. “According to HJL, he has delivered the goods for three times and was paid IDR 3,000,000 per job,” says the director at the end of the report.
