Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) guaranteed the public of food availability and affordability before and after Eid al-Fitr this year, addressing concerns about essential needs.
"As the Minister of Trade mentioned in a meeting on Monday, staple goods are plentiful during Ramadan," said Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, the Head of the INP Public Information Bureau, on Wednesday (27/3/2024).
To tackle this issue, the INP held a public discussion titled "Ensuring Food Price Availability and Affordability Pre and Post Eid al-Fitr 2024" in Jakarta. Representatives from various agencies, including the State Logistics Agency (Bulog) and the Ministry of Trade, attended.
With heightened demand during Ramadan, Chief Trunoyudo urged the public to buy essentials without worry.
He emphasized ongoing monitoring of staple goods' availability and distribution by the Police Food Task Force and relevant stakeholders across Indonesia.
