Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) awarded key honors to officers for exceptional dedication and peaceful mediation during a sensitive security situation at the Baiturrahman Grand Mosque in Banda Aceh, on Thursday (20/8/2026)

"This award represents the INP leadership's appreciation for personnel who demonstrated courage and dedication in maintaining security," said iNP Head of the Public Relations Division Inspector General Johnny Eddizon Isir in Jakarta.

During an event at the mosque, officers negotiated directly with residents following the raising of the Crescent Moon flag, de-escalating tensions and ensuring the flag was safely lowered without violence.

The INP awarded the INP Chief Gold Pin to Aceh Regional Police Chief Inspector General Ruddi Setiawan, Aceh Police Deputy Chief Brigadier General Ari Wahyu Widodo, and Senior Inspector I Ketut Supriyatna.
