Inp.polri.go.id - Nagekeo. Nagekeo Police Chief Superintendent Rachmat Muchamad Salihi and a joint task force navigated landslides and crossed rivers to deliver disaster relief to isolated earthquake victims in South Aesesa District, Nagekeo Regency.
The team transported emergency aid from East Nusa Tenggara Police Chief Inspector General Rudi Darmoko to residents in Wajomara Village and Natakupe Village following a magnitude 7.7 earthquake. Officers waded through river currents and cleared blocked valley roads to reach the remote communities directly.
"Thank you to the East Nusa Tenggara Police Chief and Nagekeo Police Chief for coming directly to us despite the difficult roads," said a local resident during the aid distribution.
Chief Rachmat said that geographical challenges and physical barriers would not prevent law enforcement from delivering necessary state assistance. Officers provided essential supplies to affected families while conducting field assessments across remote disaster zones to ensure continued support during post-earthquake recovery operations.
