In anticipation of the 42nd ASEAN Summit's conclusion today, Thursday (11/5/23), the Chief of Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo has assured his readiness to ensure the safe return of Heads of State and delegates participating in the 42nd ASEAN Summit Conference in Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT).
Emphasizing the differing return schedules of the Heads of State and delegates, he underscored the readiness of the police force to adjust security arrangements and engage in comprehensive coordination with all stakeholders, including the Presidential Security Force.
"After conducting an evaluation this morning of yesterday's activities, it is evident that congestion may occur due to the differing return schedules. Some participants are still involved in ongoing activities, while others may choose to savor the scenic beauty of Labuan Bajo," he said at the Command Center 91.
Highlighting the thorough preparations, he reiterated that the collaborative efforts with all stakeholders enable a prompt communication and adaptability to any changes in plans or unforeseen developments.
In his concluding statement, he expressed the unwavering commitment of the police force to diligently fulfill their security and escorting responsibilities for all ongoing activities.
