inp.polri.go.id - South Sumatra. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief Listyo Sigit Prabowo attends the Ramadan Safari at the South Sumatra Regional Police HQ.

In his remarks, Sigit emphasized that in maintaining unity, he hopes that religious figures, students, laborers, and all other elements do not get swayed by narrations that could disrupt public security.

“We must unite so that we can face all challenges as one. In this, we do hope that people do not get swayed by any narrations that could negatively impact our unity,” said Sigit on Saturday (3/7/2026).

General Sigit stated that in unity, Indonesia has faced numerous challenges such as the infamous Covid-19. With unity, he said, the country could survive the pandemic with stable economic growth.

Therefore, on this occasion, Sigit called for a united front in facing whatever dynamics arise from the conflict in the Middle Eastern countries.

"Rest assured, the government will certainly take the best measures. Mr. President promises that I will protect all my people, all my people, in accordance with the mandate of the Constitution," said Sigit.
