inp.polri.go.id - Purwakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo attends the 52th Anniversary of All Indonesian Trade Unions Confederation (KSPSl) in Purwakarta, West Java. In his speech, General Sigit fully supports the workers to improve their skills.
"On this occasion, I wish a happy 52nd birthday to my colleagues at KSPSI and I think today's birthday is a birthday full of meaning as we are celebrating this birthday in a place where the training center for SPSI will be build," explained General Sigit at the location, on Wednesday (2/26/2025).
General Sigit also admitted that he had followed the struggle and movement of KSPSI since he was a middle-ranking officer. In fact, during his time as the Banten Regional Police Chief, he was close with the President of KSPSI Andi Gani Nena Wea.
On the other hand, General Sigit was grateful that the movement and struggle of workers at the Constitutional Court had yielded results. As the Chief of Police, he expressed his gratitude because the long struggle of the workers was going safely and orderly.
"I congratulate the movement and struggle of fellow workers who have fought for their rights in a fairly long journey, fighting to file a lawsuit at the Constitutional Court," said the Chief of Police.
KSPSI, said the Chief of Police, is expected to continue fighting for its rights in the future. However, General Sigit also advised KSPSI to maintain good relations between workers and employers in order to jointly build Indonesia.
"But I still want to remind all my KSPSI colleagues that whatever our relationship we have with our employer, good relations must be maintained. Workers and entrepreneurs are elements that complement each other to build this country together," said General Sigit.
