inp.polri.go.id - Madiun. General Supervision Inspector of Indonesian National Police (INP), Commissioner General Dedi Prasetyo and the Vice Minister of Agriculture Sudaryono led the harvest of corn in Bulu Village, Madiun Regency, East Java, on Wednesday (2/26/2025).

“We are going to Madiun as it happened to be their first corn harvest,’’ said Head of Public Relations of the East Java Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Dirmanto on Wednesday (2/26/2025).

Head of the Agriculture and Fisheries Service of Madiun Regency, Sumanto, said that the simultaneous corn harvest activity in Phase 1 was attended by 350 invitees.

"There were approximately 350 invitees from various elements including the police and military, the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum, and farmers," said Sumanto.

The activity also included the handover of assistance from the government to the people.

Madiun Deputy Regent Purnomo Hadi hopes that the program can improve farmers' welfare and strengthen national food security.

"Thank you to all parties, especially the police who have supported and promoted food self-sufficiency. We pray that this activity can improve farmers' welfare and strengthen national food security," said the Deputy Regent.
