Inp.polri.go.id - Surakarta. Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo declared the Republic of Indonesia a shared home offering equal opportunities for all citizens during an Independence Day gathering in Surakarta on Sunday (30/8/2026).

Attending the event alongside Garda Satya NKRI, an organization composed of former members and sympathizers of Jamaah Islamiyah (JI) who pledged allegiance to Indonesia,  he f highlighted diversity as a national asset.

"We have a shared home named Indonesia, with doors that are always open for every citizen to take part, reshape their steps, and build the nation's future," Chief Sigit said.

He urged Indonesians to honor independence through active contributions, maintaining public order, and supporting national unity and development.
