Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Chief of the Indonesian National Police (INP) General Listyo Sigit Prabowo instructed all police units to rapidly process public complaints and use public feedback as an early warning system to accelerate institutional reform.

Speaking at the 2026 National Police Commission (Kompolnas) Awards ceremony on Thursday (17/9/2026), he highlighted that the rapid rise of social media and citizen journalism requires heightened police responsiveness, transparency, and accountability.

"Every suggestion and public complaint must be acted upon quickly and accurately, not only to resolve immediate issues, but also to be analyzed as an early warning system," said Chief Sigit.

He emphasized the strategic oversight role of the Kompolnas in bridging public feedback with internal inspection bodies, including the General Inspection Inspectorate and the Professionalism and Security Division.

Chief SIgit urged awarded units and officers to document best practices, reinforcing that institutional success is measured by public trust, legal certainty, and quality service delivery across all administrative levels.
