Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police Chief, Commissioner General Asep Edi Suheri, and Vice Chief of Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police, Inspector General Dekananto Eko Purwono, visited three personnel undergoing treatment at the Bhayangkara Hospital, Level I, Indonesian National Police Medical Center, on Thursday (9/17/2026).

The three personnel were injured while carrying out their duties. They are Rizal Zulkarnain, Aditya Ilyas Nurfauzan, and First Brigadier Alvin Indra Yudiana from the North Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police.

Rizal suffered a gunshot wound to the right thigh while fighting a drug suspect who attempted to seize his weapon. After receiving initial treatment, Rizal was referred to the Bhayangkara Hospital, Level I, IndonesianNational Police Medical Center (Pusdokkes Polri) for further treatment.

Meanwhile, Aditya and Alvin were involved in an accident while conducting a security patrol in the area. Both suffered leg and hand injuries and are still undergoing medical treatment.

During the visit, the Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police Chief spoke directly with the three personnel. Asep also offered support and encouragement to them to remain focused on their recovery process.

"Focus on your recovery and follow all the medical team's recommendations. We are all praying for and waiting for you, my colleagues, to recover and return to serving the community," he said.

The visit demonstrated the Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police leadership's concern for the personnel who were injured while on duty and provided moral support during their recovery.
