inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo directed his officers to boost collaboration with other law enforcement agencies and relevant stakeholders.

"Of course, we must also improve our collaboration between law enforcement agencies to be able to optimally enforce the law," said General Sigit, Thursday (5/7/2026).

He explained that law enforcement is currently facing new challenges due to existing global dynamics. Furthermore, the current global situation has given rise to transnational crimes, creating new legal loopholes within the country. 

He believes that collaboration between INP, law enforcement agencies, and relevant stakeholders or ministries can be intensified, as directed by President Prabowo Subianto.

"We are facing a global situation that undoubtedly impacts the domestic situation, and this also creates new legal loopholes that we must collectively anticipate," he said.

Sigit emphasized the importance of providing a sense of justice to the community, especially vulnerable groups. Meanwhile, perpetrators of crimes must be dealt with firmly and comprehensively.

"We all hope that we can work together with all law enforcement officers to provide new hope regarding the new paradigm of the Criminal Code (KUHP) and the Criminal Procedure Code (KUHAP), which certainly provides ample space for restorative justice at all levels, not just attributive justice. All of this, of course, needs to be understood by all members," he explained.
