General  Listyo Sigit Prabowo, Chief of the Indonesian National Police (INP), has approved the issuance of Regulation No. 6 of 2023 on Public Relations Management within the Indonesian National Police. Speaking at the 72nd Anniversary of Police Public Relations in Jakarta on Tuesday (31/10/2023), Inspector General Sandi Nugroho, the Head of the INP Public Relations Division, highlighted the issuance of Regulation Number 6 as a special gift to commemorate this year's anniversary of Police Public Relations. "The regulation integrates all digital application services of the Police Public Relations and its affiliated units," he said. The INP Public Relations Division received another gift from the INP Chief in the form of the police leadership's support in the creation of the "Portal Humas Presisi", which was launched during the INP Public Relations Division anniversary celebrations. This portal, according to Sandi, serves as a hub that integrates all digital application services of the INP Public Relations Division and its affiliated units. "Through this digital platform, we also aim to combat and correct various false information  and hoaxes. This portal provides facts to mitigate the prevention of any signs of public division," General Sandi said. The INP Public Relations anniversary, which began on 2 October, was marked by a series of events ranging from social service activities, environmental activities, youth engagement initiatives, a football match, film screenings and a photography competition. The series culminated in a Declaration for a Peaceful 2024 Elections involving media figures. At the peak of the 72nd anniversary celebrations, the INP Chief presented the Precision Public Relations Awards to 11 heads of the INP public relations units and 32 representatives from TV, online media and radio.
