Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo officially inaugurated Commissioner General Wahyu Widada as Inspector General for Supervision at the INP headquarters in South Jakarta on Tuesday (19/8/2025).
The ceremony also included a wide-ranging reshuffle of senior posts.
“Job rotations within the police are a normal process to refresh the organization, improve performance, and adjust to operational needs amid increasingly complex challenges,” said INP Head of Public Relations Division Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, as quoted by antaranews.com.
Chief Wahyu handed over his previous position as the Head of the Criminal Investigation Agency to Commissioner General Syahardiantono, formerly the Head of intelligence and Security. Commissioner General Akhmad Wiyagus was then appointed as the new Head of Intelligence and Security, while Commissioner General Mohammad Fadil Imran took over as Chief of Operations.
The security maintenance division is now led by Inspector General Karyoto, replaced at Jakarta metro Jaya Regional Police by Inspector General Asep Edi Suheri.
The reshuffle also covered six regional police chiefs, namely Metro Jaya Police, Banten, Police, Aceh Police, Maluku Police, North Kalimantan and Gorontalo Police.
