Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Suyudi Ario Seto unveiled the Police Caring for Unemployment (Poliran) program to address joblessness and maintain public security and order in Jakarta on Friday (30/10/2026).
"Unemployment holds potential for public order disruptions. Through Bhabinkamtibmas community policing officers and village apparatuses, we will directly identify job seekers and provide soft skills training in collaboration with the Ministry of Manpower," he said.
The program aims to upskill job seekers and post-rehabilitation individuals before placing them in partner companies or regional vocational training centers (BLK), as reported by antaranews.com.
Minister of Villages and Development of Disadvantaged Regions Yandri Susanto supported the initiative, adding that the Poliran initiatives will integrate with rural export and tourism development projects across Indonesian villages.
