Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) and the Ministry of Villages and Development of Disadvantaged Regions established a strategic partnership to maintain public security and order at the village level during a meeting at Mabes Polri in Jakarta on Friday (30/10/2026).
"Substance abuse often triggers conventional crimes such as theft, violence, brawl, and illegal racing. We are strengthening prevention to ensure our anti-drug educational initiatives reach every province," said INP Chief General Suyudi Ario Seto.
Alongside Village Minister Yandri Susanto, Chief Suyudi highlighted joint programs including the Anti-Drug Curriculum Integration (IKN), Drug-Free Villages (Desa Bersinar), and Police Caring for Unemployment (Poliran), according to antaranews.com.
Minister Yandri confirmed that all 75,266 villages nationwide will become key focal points in safeguarding rural communities from narcotics and social disruptions.
