inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo led a joint exercise to commemorate the 80th Bhayangkara Day.
The event, attended by members of the Indonesian Military (TNI), the National Counterterrorism Agency (BNPT), the Indonesia Automatic Fingerprint Identification System (INAFIS), and other ministries/institutions, was held at the Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police Headquarters.
"We're holding two types of events: a fun walk and a team run. The focus here isn't on speed, but on teamwork and cheers. The most important thing is how the participants incorporate creativity into the event to make it even more lively," explained the INP Chief on Sunday (6/28/2026).
According to him, today's event is open to the public. There are 12 platforms available for the public to participate in.
General Sigit explained that, coinciding with the event, Vice Chief of INP, Commissioner General Dedi Prasetyo, will also lead a health service, a social service, and the opening of the Kapolri Cup.
In the Kapolri Cup event, there are 18 sport categories which can be the medium in seeking and developing the young national talents.
“In the future we hope the Kapolri Cup can be the place where we can prepare our athletes, other than scouting for a new one, for various sporting tournaments such as PON, SEA Games, or even Asian Games and the Olympics,” hopes INP Chief.
