Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Suyudi Ario Seto officially led the handover ceremony for the Head of the Traffic Corps and three Regional Police Chiefs in Jakarta on Monday (12/10/2026)).

INP Head of Public Relations Division Inspector General Johnny Eddizon Isir confirmed that Brigadier General Aries Syahbudin officially assumed leadership as the Traffic Corps, replacing Inspector General Wibowo.

The regional leadership adjustments involved key appointments across three provincial police forces. Inspector General Agus Wijayanto officially succeeded Inspector General Viktor Theodorus Sihombing as the Bangka Belitung Regional Police Chief. Meanwhile, Brigadier General Andi Syahriful Taufik assumed leadership as the North Kalimantan Regional Police Chief, replacing Inspector General Agus Wijayanto. In Lampung, Brigadier General Yustan Alpiani officially succeeded Inspector General Helfi Assegaf as the Regional Police Chief.

Chief Isir said that organizational rotations serve to maintain operational efficacy and adapt to evolving security challenges. 

"Every institutional change brings new responsibilities. Incoming leadership is expected to address organizational needs, understand regional operational profiles, and execute precise strategy," he said in his statement.

Aligning with INP Chief directives and the "Police with the Community" approach, newly appointed officers were urged to immediately strengthen stakeholder synergy, maintain public trust, and enhance professional community protection across their respective jurisdictions.
