Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo led the rally of 2024 Ketupat Operation in the Cross Field of Monas, Central Jakarta. The thousands of joint personnel of the security operation came and gathered in one place. Leading the rally, General Sigit was accompanied by the Indonesian Military Force (TNI) Commander, General Agus Subiyanto. “The military and the police, along with related stakeholders hold the centralized operation with the codename of 2024 Ketupat Operation involving 155,165 personnel for 13 days from April 4th to April 16th,” says INP Chief, General Sigit on Wednesday (4/3/2024). General Sigit conveys that in the operation, there are 5,784 posts consisting 3,772 security posts, 1,532 service posts, and 480 integrated posts. “We will provide service and security, especially in the prone areas, and during the traffic congestions, traffic accidents, criminal actions, and disaster. The operation will also serve those in public places, and of course posts established by us have to be able to provide their best service to the people. Furthermore, Sigit insists his personnel to provide safety, security, order, and smooth traffic to the people by checking infrastructures preparation and transportation that will be used. He also urged his personnel to support in reducing risk potentials and congestions in the road. Moreover, Sigit adds that all effort and development in the field must be balanced with proper, strategic and well-prepared public communication.
