Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The security operation for the Eid Al-Fitr was carried out by deploying more security facilities than the year before. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief, Listyo Sigit Prabowo has ordered his ranks to provide supporting facilities for emergency situations.
In realizing the chief order, two helicopters owned by INP Security Maintenance Agency have been modified into air ambulances. The helicopter will evacuate victims during the 2024 Ketupat Operation.
Head of Public Information Bureau of INP Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko says that the two helicopters will be used to evacuate emergency victims to the nearest hospital.
Trunoyudo says that if the helicopter is having difficulties reaching the designated location, the land evacuation unit will be deployed and get the victim and get them to the pick up location designated by the helicopter crew.
Furthermore, Trunoyudo conveys that the helicopter crew consists of Ops Assistance Task Force, doctors, nurse, and pilot crews.
He adds that in the 2024 Ketupat Operation, INP prioritized preemptive and preventive effort. The deployment of air ambulances is part of their effort in anticipating cases that require speed.
“Because speed is the essence in handling emergency situations,” said Trunoyudo.
