Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Chief of the Indonesian National Police (INP), General Polisi Listyo Sigit Prabowo, described the National Police Commission (Kompolnas) as an essential strategic partner for institutional reform. 

"Our hope is for the National Police Commission to continue ensuring our institution runs in accordance with public expectations," he said in his remarks as the keynote speaker at the commission's supervision coordination meeting at the Mercure Hotel Ancol, North Jakarta, on Wednesday (10/6/2026)

"We are currently continuing our internal regulatory improvements while waiting for the new National Police Law to be officially promulgated," Chief Sigit added.

The commission is tasked with providing recommendations to President Prabowo Subianto and collecting public aspirations or complaints regarding the police force.

Chief Sigit said that all constructive criticisms and findings from the police reform commission will serve as vital evaluation material to build a modern and adaptive institution. He expected  the forum to further strengthen monitoring cooperation to ensure the police force effectively adapts to evolving public needs.
