“We have been implementing transformation for improvement. The INP is open to evaluation and external input to continue making improvements, both in our activities and in meeting public expectations,” he told reporters after attending a cabinet reshuffle ceremony at the State Palace on Wednesday (17/9/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.
Chief Sigit added that reforms include cultural change supported by a system of punishment and reward.
“We want to hear what people expect. Progress has been made, but we continue to seek input,” he said.
Regarding President Prabowo Subianto’s creation of a special advisory post for police reform, the INP Chief assured coordination would remain open and that the INP would follow up on upcoming policy directions.
