Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo has issued a special directive for the swift investigation and resolution of the acid attack involving Andrie Yunus, the Deputy Coordinator of KontraS.

“The Indonesian National Police Chief has given special attention to this case, and the investigation by Central Jakarta Metropolitan Sub-regional  Police is now being directly supported by teams from the Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional and the INP Criminal Investigation Agency to ensure a scientific, evidence-based prosecution,” said Inspector General Johnny Eddizon Isir, the Head of the INP Public Relations Division, on Friday (13/3/2026), as cited by antaranews.com.

Authorities have officially launched a "Model A" police report under the new Criminal Code, specifically Articles 467 and 468 concerning aggravated assault. 

Forensic teams are currently conducting an in-depth analysis of witnesses and evidence collected from the Salemba I area, where Yunus was doused with acid by two unidentified motorcyclists late Wednesday.
