Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesian National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo highlighted the need for enhanced cooperation in advocating for labor rights following a meeting with the Confederation of All Indonesian Trade Unions (KSBSI) on Friday (6/2/2026).
He revealed that the police’s specialized "Labor Desk" will be optimized to resolve industrial disputes and expand protections for female workers. This initiative aims to ensure that labor aspirations are safely communicated and legally protected across the country.
"We will continue to optimize police services regarding labor issues, including expanding protections specifically for female laborers," said Chief Sigit at the INP Headquarters, as reported by antaranews.com
KSBSI President Elly Rosita Silaban praised the partnership and formally requested that the Labor Desk be expanded to regional police levels to address local industrial conflicts more effectively.
