Inp.polri.go.id - Purwakarta. Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo highlighted the necessity of strengthening synergy between the police and labor unions to navigate volatile global economic dynamics.

Speaking at the 53rd anniversary of the All-Indonesia Workers Union Confederation (KSPSI) in West Java’s Purwakarta on Saturday (21/2/2026), he said that international pressures directly impact domestic stability and employment.

"Our hope is that our synergy and collaboration will continue to improve as we face a difficult global situation that impacts our internal conditions," Chief Sigit stated during the event, as reported by antaranews.com 

He underscored that President Prabowo Subianto's "Astacita" program, which includes developing 18 strategic industries, aims to create new jobs and mitigate labor disruptions. 

While encouraging a conducive investment climate through business-labor collaboration, the Chief reaffirmed the police's commitment to supporting workers' struggles for their rights. He urged laborers to pursue their goals through legal corridors and continuously upgrade their professional skills to remain competitive against international workforces, proving that Indonesian workers are as resilient and capable as any globally.
