The Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo states several national and international agenda has become the focus of this year while the election process is continuing. The INP Chief reminds that there are still Regional Head Election that they still have to secure. “We will be facing the upcoming simultaneous Regional Head Election in 37 cities across Indonesia,” said the Police Chief on Thursday (2/29/2024). On the other hand, General Sigit, also reminded us that soon we are going into the Holy Month of Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr, where the food prices might rocketed. He also highlighted that this year’s Ramadan coincided with the continuing election process. Furthermore, the INP Chief also told that there is an international agenda in Bali which will be attended by 43 delegations from abroad. “This also requires our best attention and ensures the security operation goes accordingly. All of this requires the best preparation from the INP as we are the one who is responsible in the security and order sector,” explains the INP Chief. (ad/ay/pr/nm)
