INP Chief Rotates 60 Senior Officers

Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Chief of the Indonesian National Police (INP), Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, annaounced a tour of duty within the force affecting 60 mid-ranking (pamen) and high-ranking (pati) officers, on Tuesday (26/9/23). This decision was made official through two official telegram letters, namely ST/2163/IX/KEP./2023, leading to the mutation of 35 personnel, and ST/2164/IX/KEP./2023, leading to the mutation of 25 personnel. Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, Head of the Public Relations Affairs of INP Public Relations Division, said that the tour of duty is a routine aspect within the INP. "The tour of duty within the INP are a standard practice to ensure optimal functioning and effectiveness," he said in his statement. The tour of duty involved  the appointment of Inspector General Achmad Kartiko as the Chief of Aceh Regional Police, replacing outgoing the Inspector General Ahmad Haydar. General Kartiko is a former high-ranking official in the INP intelligence agency and  Deputy for Placement and Protection of the Europe and Middle East Region at the Indonesian Migrant Workers Protection Agency. Brigadier General Syamsul Bahri, the Deputy Chief of Aceh Regional Police, who was due to his retirement, has been replaced by Police Senior Superintendent Armia Fahmi. Brigadier General Heri Sulistianto, the former Deputy Chief of East Nusa Tenggara Regional Police, has been succeeded by Brigadier General Awi Setiyono, who previously held the position of Deputy Governor of Police Academy.
