Inp.polri.go.id - Surabaya. The Special Task Force for Corruption Prevention of the Indonesian National Police (INP) has monitored the Customs and Excise Supervision and Service Office of Tanjung Perak Port, Surabaya, East Java in an effort to prevent corruption.
"The Task Force has been monitoring areas prone to corruption, mapping vulnerabilities in customs violations, and helping to strengthen the defense mehcanism against possible efforts to compromise the integrity of employees in performing their duties," Yudi Purnomo, a Task Force member, said in a written statement on Wednesday (27/9/23).
The operation was conducted jointly by Task Force and the Ministry of Finance to monitor the Port on September 25-26, 2023.
Giri Suprapdiono, the Task Force leader, explained that the activities at Tanjung Perak were part of the strategic cooperation between the INP led by INP Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo and the Ministry of Finance led by Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati.
"This also aligns with efforts to accelerate the Sustainable Customs and Excise Reform Program initiated by the Directorate General of Customs and Excise," he said, referring to a program better known as PKRC
