Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo urged all officers to uphold the integrity and professionalism of former police chief General Hoegeng Iman Santoso during the 2026 Hoegeng Awards in South Jakarta on Friday (31/7/2026). 

Speaking at the event's fifth annual edition, he highlighted the importance of maintaining public trust through dedicated service.

"We must continue to preserve the spirit of Hoegeng as a torch that will inspire future Hoegengs," Chief Sigit said.

Chosen from 9,125 public nominations through expert verification and public testing, five officers received honors across various categories. Winners included Senior Superintendent Eko Budhi Purwono for dedicated service through Green Policing in Riau, Brigadier Renita Rismayanti for police innovation, Assistant Senior Inspector Siti Elminawati for protecting vulnerable groups, First Inspector Motalip Litiloly for border and remote policing in Papua, and Senior Superintendent Norul Hidayat for institutional integrity.

CT Corp Chairman Chairul Tanjung noted that rising public nominations reflect growing numbers of officers demonstrating outstanding service and integrity nationwide.
