She was honored for developing a digital crime database while serving with the UN Police under the MINUSCA peacekeeping mission in the Central African Republic (CAR) from 2023 to 2024.
Attended by Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, the ceremony highlighted her success in modernizing manual crime tracking into an integrated digital system connected directly to UNPOL Headquarters.
"Seeing that the data collection process was still manual, I worked to migrate data to a digital system so it would be more effective and connect directly with UNPOL Headquarters," Brigadir Renita said.
The UN praised her innovation for enhancing crime data management during international peacekeeping operations. The annual Hoegeng Awards celebrate Indonesian police officers demonstrating outstanding integrity, innovation, and global dedication.
