Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. In a significant show of commitment to the fight against corruption, Chief of the Indonesian National Police (INP) General Listyo Sigit Prabowo and his delegation visited the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) headquarters a on Monday afternoon (4/12/2023).
Led by the INP Chief and high-ranking INP officials including Chief of the INP Criminal Investigation Department, Commissioner General Wahyu Widada, the INP Chief of General Supervision Inspectorate Commissioner General Ahmad Dofiri, the Assistant to the INP Chief for Human Resources Inspector General Prof. Dr. Dedi Prasetyo, the Assistant to the INP Chief for OperationsInspector General Verdianto Iskandar Bitticaca, and the Head of the INP Public Relations Division Inspector General Sandi Nugroho, the visit underlined the INP commitment in supporting the anti-corruption efforts led by the KPK.
"Thank God, the presence of the INP Chief and his accompanying officials is a tangible demonstration of the INP's commitment to cooperate and support the KPK in the fight against corruption," the INP Chief Spokeseperson said.
The visit to the KPK headquarters was in response to an invitation to sign a Coordination and Monitoring Cooperation Agreement, a follow-up to the earlier Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between both institutions, he explained.
"This cooperation is a manifestation of synergy in preventing and eradicating corruption while promoting an anti-corruption culture in Indonesia," Sandi added.
The visit of General Listyo Sigit Prabowo and his delegation to the KPK came just ahead of the upcoming International Anti-Corruption Day on 9 December 2023.
