Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) confirmed that recruitment for the 2026 Police Academy (Akpol) cadets will only be conducted through the national regular selection route.
Assistant to the INP Chief for Human Resources Inspector General Anwar emphasized on Sunday (7/6/2026) that the process is carried out under the principles of clean, transparent, accountable, and humanist (BETAH), without special quotas or privileged pathways.
“This recruitment uses the BETAH principle. All participants have equal opportunity,” he said during an online briefing to HR and Public Relations units.
The selection has reached the second health examination stage, with 513 candidates, consisting of 468 men and 45 women, qualified to continue.
CHief Anwar stressed there are no special quotas, recommendations, or additional slots. Internal and external monitoring is in place to ensure fairness and prevent corruption, collusion, and nepotism.
Police units nationwide are instructed to widely publicize this policy to prevent misinformation and strengthen public trust in the recruitment process.
