Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) officially announced in Jakarta on Tuesday (7/4/2026) that the 2026 Police Academy (Akpol) recruitment will strictly follow a single regular track, explicitly eliminating all "special quotas" to ensure meritocracy.
"As mandated by the INP Chief, recruitment for Akpol is conducted solely through the regular track, and we urge the public to ignore any claims of special entry," said Inspector General Johnny Eddizon Isir, the INP Head of the Public Relations Division, as cited by antaranews.com.
Authorities warned applicants against falling for fraudulent promises from brokers offering guaranteed admission for payment. This firm stance is expected to uphold the institution’s the principles of transparency and accountability while selecting 300 candidates.
To protect the process, the INP have activated specialized hotlines and channels for reporting recruitment fraud.
