Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesian National Police (INP) distributed 1,756 tons of corn harvested in the third quarter to state-owned food logistics agency Bulog, as part of efforts to strengthen national food security.

“Today we are sending 1,756 tons of corn to be absorbed by Bulog, with 614 tons from South Sumatra and 100 tons from Oku prioritized for Bulog,” said INP Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo at the harvest event in East Ogan Komering ulu (OKU) , South Sumatra, on Saturday (27/9/2025), as reported by antaranews.com.

Between July and September 2025, police-managed farms produced over 751,000 tons of corn from 166,512 hectares nationwide, contributing to the 2.8 million tons already harvested this year.

Chief Sigit Listyo emphasized the program reflects synergy between the police and Bulog to boost food reserves, secure markets for farmers, and ensure supply for households and industry.
